The first day of April has come and gone – well almost – and I have prepared my APRIL moodboard for you.
I’m sure that some of the photos you see are a bit confusing. But you see, this is the last month before my exams, which means that I am in for a pretty uneventful month. I’ve decided to give up junk food for the next two months so… we’ll see how that goes.
However, I couldn’t be more excited to finish planning my birthday party and on the 30th of April it’s my best friend’s 18th birthday! A little bit of good in a pretty bad place.

Wish you all the best!

'The Good Wife' Breaks My Heart

I’ve wanted to write this post for quite some time now. I haven’t ever shared with you that ‘The Good Wife’ is one of my favourite shows, but hey, now’s as good a time as ever so let it be known that I absolutely LOVE IT.
I love everything about it. I love the complexity of the characters. No one is good and no one is bad. Everyone has a side to them that is dark and a side that loves.
The complexity of Alicia and Will’s relationship is breathtaking. It makes me, a 17-year-old, question if I will ever go through such an experience where love, pain and life in itself are all interlinked. Where making the decision to spend the rest of my life with someone is actually harder than remaining with my husband. The Good Wife has made me question my beliefs about family, right and wrong. And this weekend, the wonderful writers did it again.
When Josh Charles announced his decision to leave the show, the writers were back to the drawing board, everyone was trying to find the best way for Will Gardner to end on a positive note (Or so would I like to assume). It is implied that at one point they considered moving Will to another city and I have to say, I am SO happy they didn’t.
Sure, the Wilicia fan in me wants to see them grow old together, maybe even have a kid, but the rational and I would like to believe more ‘mature’ side of me believes that Will’s death is the best direction that the show could have possibly gone in.
If you asked my best friend she would tell you that whenever we watch a romantic movie together with people in two completely different life situations I always hope that they don’t end up together. I share with her, ALL the different scenarios that I would consider if I were the creative force behind it…
I EXTREMELY APPROVE OF THIS DECISION!!! Its like Santa Claus and the Easter Rabbit had a baby together! YES! Its that good!
Think about it! If Will left to live in another city/ country Alicia would always keep that part of her that loved him in a tiny vault, hidden away and impossible to reach. She would never move on from him because there would always be a chance that he could come back. Like this Alicia is forced to deal with her feelings for Will. All the mistakes that were made, all the moments missed, she will have to face them all! STRAP ON YOUR SEAT BELTS PEOPLE – because we are in for the journey of our lives!

Guess who's back...

Hey Guys!
I know that I've been a bit absent but that is because I was sitting Mock Exams at school and that means that I have had little time to blog! Currently I have so much going on, there is a HUGE surprise that is coming your way as well as some awesome personal achievements for yours truly! And posts… did I forget to mention cool new posts?...

Today I decided to spend my afternoon off with my best friend, Luiza, walking around in Lisbon. We had some wonderful cupcakes at a bakery called Tease and took some really cool photos. For those of you who don’t know, Lisbon is an amazing city and Chiado is one of the most interesting places you’ll ever see. It is really breath taking and honestly, MORE than worth your time!

Hope you’re all having a great start to your week!

Denim VS Leather - Which One Wins?

I’ve been thinking about this question lately because this year I decided to purchase my first black leather jacket. Yes, I’ve always borrowed my mum’s one and I thought, well she thought, it was best that I got my own one so I would have to keep sneaking the other one out of her closet!

I must admit, having my leather jacket was put into good use this season. I don’t know if it’s because PUNK has been all the rave lately or because I am simply ‘feeling it’. It’s conflicting and confusing… and I really don’t know. I say this because, in order for my leather jacket to become such a sticking piece in my wardrobe, I let go of my denim jacket. I could say that it is because I feel like a denim jacket isn’t as winter appropriate as a leather jacket. I could even argue that a leather jacket in the summer is IMPOSSIBLE to wear because of the heat, but I am lost. Seriously, I don’t know how to answer my own questions!! What is going on?

That’s when I realized; a leather jacket and a denim jacket have the same sort of purpose. Well at least for me they do.  You can style them with almost any outfit adding a ‘cool’ vibe.  I’m serious! They are low key and yet still really cool. A simple tee and jeans can go from chill to sophisticated simplicity just by adding a leather jacket. Putting on a denim jacket can downplay a romantic skater dress’ girly aspect, and even its formality. They are both serious miracle workers! So I choose BOTH! It’s impossible to choose… Right?! Don’t even try arguing with me!
I’ve chosen some outfits that showcase how both of them can be used. Check them out below!

Seriously? How could you choose? Admit I'm right!

Kendall Jenner Takes the Fashion World by STORM

It seems like lately it is all about Kendall Jenner. The girl who is referenced as ‘The Kardashian Kid Sister’ showed her craft all over the world. Taking the fashion world by storm Kendall has walked the Marc Jacobs runway in New York, sat front row next to Anna Wintour in London, and now in Paris she is making her mark by walking the prestigious Givenchy and the Chanel runways.

Over the years Kendall has voiced her dreams of being successful as a model and there were quite a few that doubted her. I guess now everyone knows that Kendall is the new model to watch.
I love ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’. Watching Kendall and Kylie over the years was always a really fun experience for me because I am their age. The different phases that they were going through and the new experiences that they were dying to try were super relatable and now, to see Kendall make her dream come true is very inspiring! Sure she had the aid of her family name and connections, but you don’t make it if you don’t have what it takes.
