It seems like lately it is all about Kendall Jenner. The girl who is referenced as ‘The Kardashian Kid Sister’ showed her craft all over the world. Taking the fashion world by storm Kendall has walked the Marc Jacobs runway in New York, sat front row next to Anna Wintour in London, and now in Paris she is making her mark by walking the prestigious Givenchy and the Chanel runways.
Over the years Kendall has voiced her dreams of being successful as a model and there were quite a few that doubted her. I guess now everyone knows that Kendall is the new model to watch.
I love ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’. Watching Kendall and Kylie over the years was always a really fun experience for me because I am their age. The different phases that they were going through and the new experiences that they were dying to try were super relatable and now, to see Kendall make her dream come true is very inspiring! Sure she had the aid of her family name and connections, but you don’t make it if you don’t have what it takes.

And so, the much-awaited day has arrived. Today is ALL about The Oscars. I don’t know about you guys but I am absolutely addicted to movies, yet I’ve never studied movie making which means that my technical skills are totally NON-EXISTENT. So… how am I supposed to know which movies are supposed to win? Is it because I liked it? Is it because the actors were underpaid? Should it be because the story is tragic? What makes a movie worthy of an Oscar? After all, most of the planet believes Leo diCaprio should be getting one and that hasn’t happened – yet!
That my friends, is point number one. Now onto point number two. RED CARPET. Yep, that’s right. You read it right.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE watching the Red Carpet style that we see, yes I know that movies shouldn’t be about shallow presentations of couture dresses, however, these dresses are amazing! They are full on works of art, the skill it takes to design and assemble some of the gowns we’ve seen over the year… blows my mind.
Finally, point number three is, Emma Watson, Zac Efron, Jennifer Lawrence and many others will be presenting tonight. WHO COULD MISS THAT? Answer is no one - YOU CAN'T!
And that’s that my friends. Tonight/ Early am (Yes, I live in Europe), I will be sitting down in front of my tv and hoping that the love of my life (shout out #2 Leo) finally wins a beloved Oscar.

The other day my friend and I were discussing whether or not there is a ‘Right Way’ to break-up with someone. We thought it bizarre, has anyone written a manual? Something along the lines of: “The Etiquette of Breaking-Up – Do it QUICK, do it RIGHT!” It would be pretty cool right?! So we came up with some ideas and I decided to expand and share them with you. Keep in mind that these are tips for people who want to break-up FOR SURE. It isn't about trying to find a solution (although I fully support it!!)
The Drama Queen Writes Up a Break-Up Etiquette
Be Sure – Deciding to break up with someone shouldn’t be a spur of the moment decision. If you’re going to break up with your boyfriend or girlfriend you’re going to want to be 100% sure that this is the right choice. Because once you do it, you can’t go back. People aren’t toys that bend to your will.
Have a Reason – Even if you don’t fully comprehend WHY it is that you want to break up with your significant other, you HAVE to have a reason ready to give them. They will obviously want to know what it is that they have done wrong and how they could still change your mind. Honestly the reason could be something along the lines of, “I don’t really know how to explain this but I know that I am not in love with you like I was before. I still want to be your friend and I know that its going to be hard but …”. If there were important issues that lead you to this decision, don’t be afraid to talk about them. You aren’t getting back together but in the future he/she can try to prevent this from happening in their new relationship.
Pick Your Moment – The time that you choose to do this is EXTREMELY important. If you know that he/ she is planning on introducing you to family do it before so that he/ she doesn’t have to then explain why you never come around anymore. If it’s close to their birthday and you already have a present then keep up the rouse and break up with him/her after the celebrations. If you don’t yet have a present then maybe you should consider doing it before the b-day celebrations so that you don’t have to go out and pretend like you care for that person romantically. Unless you decide to do it a day before, that’s just mean.
UNDERSTAND – It is obvious that this break-up is going to be tough on your partner. You need to be understanding of that and make sure that you’ve put yourselves into their shoes. Don’t mistreat them in any way, such as name-calling or pointing fingers. Make a clean break that you are both happy and proud of.
Once a friend told me something along the lines of, “This is a person who you once saw positive qualities; someone who was a friend. Just because you aren’t together doesn’t mean that they’ve lost said qualities.” I think that this is extremely insightful and we should definitely learn from it!

It seems like just 2 days ago I was sharing with you my excitement for the Kendall and Kylie Jenner x Steve Madden collaboration. Since then Kendall has walked in the NYFW runway for Marc Jacobs, sat front row with Anna Wintour at the Topshop Unique LFW show and has reportedly been busy throwing Harry Styles a party.... Wow... I'm tired just writing that. How is it possible that these two still have enough time on their hands to write a YA novel??
Eonline has said that "According to the publisher, the novel presents "a thrilling dystopian story about two super-powered girls, Lex and Livia, who embark on a journey together, not realizing their biggest danger might be each other."
Kendall and Kylie announced last summer that they were working on the novel and their excitement was palpable. I sure can't wait to grab this book and take it with me on my summer holidays!
It comes out on the 3rd of June and guess what, if the book turns out to be a success they just might turn it into a series!

So you don’t have a boyfriend and tomorrow is Valentine’s Day… what are you going to do? If I were you I would call up my bestie (provided she doesn’t have a boyfriend) and organize a bestie date. Valentine’s Day isn’t about ROMANTIC love; it’s about spending time with the people you love. Don’t sit around at home watching sad movies and crying into a bucket of Ben and Jerry, have fun with the person that knows you best!
CHECK OUT MY TOP 5 PICKS FOR THE MOST AWESOME BESTIE V-DAY DATE:
1. Listen to some awesome songs! Queen Bey seems to be all the rave at the moment so have a dance party in your PJs.
2. The Naked 3 palette became available not so long ago. Have your bestie do your makeup and then return the favour yourself! It will give you an awesome chance to try out new colours etc.
3. Choose your hottie of the night. Lately I've been OBSESSED with the movie 'Sleepover' starring Alexa Vega. Come on, you know Sean Farris is a total hottie!
4. Pick out a couple of movies starring popular teen actresses such as Lindsay Lohan or Amanda Bynes. We all know that 'Freaky Friday' and 'She's The Man' are total teen movie classics.
5. Flip through fashion magazines together and discuss the latest fashion trends that you're loving! The March '14 issue of Teen Vogue hit stands recently so go check it out!
Not having a boyfriend doesn't give you the 'right' to mope around! Let loose and have some fun, I promise it'll be worth it!
